Cookie Policy

MyOrg.ai uses cookies and tracking technology on our company website (ie: myorg.ai), and our Software as a Service (SaaS) product MyOrg web app & our mobile apps. This is a brief explanation of the cookies and the other tracking technologies used on this website.

Cookies are the small, randomly encoded text files, that helps you navigate through the website. They will be generated on the sites that you visit. These are being done to manage the key elements of our ‘business-user functionality. In many cases, they do not involve or use personal information in any way that affects your privacy.

Cookies are used extensively online and have become part of the fabric of the core element that has made the internet work effectively for consumers and businesses. Without cookies, most of the functionalities (for example, user logins, other customization features) would not work as expected.

For further information on cookies, please refer to the following sites EU Internet Handbook or AllAboutCookies.org.

Cookie Types

Session Cookies

Session cookies are temporary cookies that won’t be stored on your computer or mobile device. They are used as part of the login, authentication and session management flows of the SaaS Web Application. Certain session cookies are used to understand, for example, if the user interacting with a company website is a new visitor or a returning visitor of the same browsing session. These session cookies will be erased when you close your browser, or after extended inactivity.

Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies are placed on your computer or mobile device for a certain duration of time when you visit this website. They are used on both the SaaS Web App and company websites, including, for example, to understand (through Google Analytics or Marketing Automation services) what areas of our websites and Web App are most used, and how customers and users engage with them. Ultimately this gives them the best experience based on their app usage and preferences.

Cookie Management

You have the ability to accept the mandatory cookie or modify the usage of cookies. Most web browsers will automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline all cookies if you prefer. On the other hand, most web browsers can be configured to notify you each time a cookie is used, and permit you to accept or decline them on an individual basis or on a different website basis. If you choose to decline cookies from the MyOrg.ai website, you may experience some unexpected behaviours or impact to the use of the hosted SaaS Web App.

Other Tracking Technologies

Other tracking technologies are used on MyOrg.ai’s company website and MyOrg Web App Site. These are generally used to understand if customers or users are interacting with any marketing-type emails sent from our systems. Examples include:

  • Flash Locally Stored Objects (eg ‘Flash’ cookies) – they follow the same principle as of the normal standard cookies. They allow information to be stored on a user’s machine.
  • Web Beacons - this can be used to deliver a cookie to your browser. They can also be used in email marketing to identify the sender if an email has been opened.

In general, we use, as like many other websites, “cookies” or small data files stored on your computer’s hard drive, as well as “web beacons” embedded on our web page, to collect information during visits to the MyOrg website and also during chat sessions with MyOrg personnel on our website. The information collected is the visitor IP address, when the site is visited and pages visited. At some instances, we use cookies to collect information for your future visits to our website & to recognize you if you are a previous visitor. When you follow a link to the site from an affiliate or promotion website, we store information about your arrival from that affiliate or promotion website in a session cookie. You don't need to turn on the cookies to visit our site. You can decline cookies by turning them off on your browser. When you access the web pages that require registration, you need to accept a mandatory session cookie. You can delete the mandatory cookie after you have left the site. Web beacons will record your IP address and the time of your visit and what pages you viewed, and are used by a third-party service that tracks site usage for us, cannot be turned off.
